  Super friendly staff and super nice atmosphere but food was bland. I will not eat there again. Shame Bcz I love eggs Benedict but not a fresh herb in sight or even some fresh ground pepper would have helped. Served with out of season fruit that also had no flavor. Even the holandaisse was blah.

  A casual atmosphere with a great menu for carnivores to vegans. Excellent food. Entertainment in the summer on weekends. The quiet corner of CT at it's best if you want to take a scenic weekend drive.

  As an avid motorcycle rider a common them to heading out on the bikes is to ride and find food. The VBC is a destination because of its great location in eastern CT, the fantastic food, the amazing staff, and a gravel lot that turns into a motorcycle showroom on weekends! If you like to see bikes, or ride one, make this a destination. If you drive here use extreme caution in the parking lot when moving about!

  Delicious food, especially the pastries. Sandwiches are also great. Casual atmosphere with walk up counter ordering. There was even live piano music while we ate lunch!
